Principals Message

Next week brings us to the end of Term 3. It has been an exceptionally busy yet productive term. We are really appreciative of the efforts our whole school community has put in to make it a successful term of learning and growth. We hope those of you who get a break over the term holidays make the most of the opportunity to rest and recharge. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday 13th October.

Evidence of Learning

As a part of our reporting and communicating with families this year, we will have an "open" afternoon on Wednesday 24th September 3-6pm. Families will be able to come for a look at their child’s Evidence of Learning. We are wanting this opportunity to be an informal way for your child(ren) to share with you some work they are proud of and also a chance to have an informal chat with their teacher about future learning. This will be a self-guided look at Evidence of Learning through student work samples (bookwork and on devices). Teachers will be in Learning Areas to help direct families but won’t be available to be booked for a period of time like the 3 Way Conferences. Families can request a copy to be sent home at a later time.

This survey will close on Tuesday September 23r at 3pm.  Please follow this link to book in: https://forms.office.com/r/T0AAauXHcs

School Satisfaction Survey 2025 – Thank you

Today is the last day to complete our annual School Satisfaction Survey. Thank you to everyone who participated in the School Satisfaction Survey 2025. Your feedback is very important to help inform our school improvement planning and decision-making. The survey will close at midnight on the 18th September, and schools will receive summaries of the results in Term 4.

 Professional Learning Day

On Friday 31st of October, staff will be participating in a professional learning day. This will focus on our Systemwide Priorities, along with planning for end of year learning and activities. Students are not required to attend school on this day.

Making the Most of Opportunities

I am continually amazed by the number of opportunities our students receive at RHS. You would have noticed through our social media communication the different learning opportunities that our students have been engaging in. This has ranged from cooking competitions, writing competitions, maths relays, state sporting teams, work experience programs, and supporting community fundraisers. The way students have embraced these opportunities has been great.
